It's been a season of diverse and dominating lineups, international headliners and noticeable change for the famous cherry brand, and now just four dates remain.
Believe it or not, the 2019 Ibiza season is approaching its climax. It feels like only yesterday when the clubbing institution re-opened its doors. This week will be the end of many electronic dreams as we wave goodbye to what's been another historic summer for the tantalising super club.
In 2019, the continual Ibiza carousel resulted in some controversial changes to the clubbing calendar which put Pacha underneath the spotlight. However, the show must go on, and the two new residencies have filled its boots plentifully. Marco Carola's Music On party has taken over Thursday nights, whilst Innervisions label boss Dixon fronted the new party concept Transmoderna on Friday's.
Last week, half of Pacha's residencies came to an end for another year. But, with three dates of rest in between the next Pacha Party, you have plenty of time to recharge and prepare for a quadruple-date bonanza of closing party mayhem at the end of the week. Starting on Thursday 10 October through until Sunday 13 October, the final celebrations are known to be simply unmissable and this year will be no different.

MUSIC ON PART 1
Despite the change of scenery, Music On has been a great success and the party has worked better than ever. Building a reputation as one of the most widely respected artists in his genre, his career spanning over 20 years has heralded a new wave of DJ’s and artists for the brand of house and techno he proudly champions and the party has gained a faithful following.
The island's de-facto heavyweight techno champ, Music On will keep it simple for this year's closing. Bossman Marco Carola will play all night long on Thursday 10 October. But don't think it's over when the doors close (see below)...
MUSIC ON PART 2
When Marco Carola closes his Music On party on Thursday, it's really just the beginning. Whether you choose to eat, sleep, rave and then repeat or let the adrenaline from the closings carry you straight through, from midnight on Friday 11 October the Neapolitan techno behemoth will rock up to Pacha to carry on proceedings.
With his unique and distinctive style of DJ’ing, Carola transforms every single night into another worldly experience, capturing the essence of hedonism. Music On affiliate and innovative tastemaker Paco Osuna and respected dance DJ Serge Devant complete the final extravaganza.
How long can you last? You have two opportunities to boogie to Carola one last time. Groove at either the Thursday, the Friday, or both dates... for me, the decision is pretty easy.
PURE IBIZA
Pacha Ibiza is Ibiza's original superclub and it embodies the Balearic spirit more than any clubbing competitors. For an evening of hedonistic raving, Pacha presents Pure Ibiza on Saturday 12 October.
The very special one-off event will feature Ibiza stalwart, Erick Morillo and iconic house DJ Danny Tenaglia. Ibiza's own, Christian and Alan Anadon, better known as Mambo Brothers, will also join the finale and bring the evolution of house music knowledge that they have gained over their years on the island to the dancefloor underneath the cherries. This closing party promises to be a night to remember. You need to be there.
SOLOMUN+1
It's been another busy summer for the Diynamic boss this year. This Sunday 13 October will be your final chance to see the German house heavyweight on the Island at the Solomun +1 closing party.
Standing firmly as one of the most unforgettable fiestas of the season, Solomun has made for many of my seasonal highlights bringing a top-class selection of techno royalty to Pacha on Sundays for some of the most insane back-to-backs you will ever witness. Denis Sulta, Peggy Gou, Adriatique, Maceo Plex and Tale of Us are but few of the talented guests to of rocked Pacha as Solomun's +1 for the evening.
This Sunday, Keinemusik (Rampa, Adam Port, &ME) will complete the residency's programme as we prepare to dance the night away for one final time. Lose yourself in the hypnotic groove. Mainly be prepared to be taken on a meditative musical journey possibly the very best send-off to round up a spell-binding residency.
