If Sunday's on Ibiza couldn't be any more of a head-spinner then wait until you see who is joining label head Solomun at his famed Pacha residency this weekend: Diynamic buddy and melodic techno maestro, Maceo Plex.
It's hard to imagine Sundays at Pacha being anything other than Solomun +1. Although the club nights over the weekend are extremely competitive, Solomun's 'plus one' concept remains one of the most popular residencies on the island due to the DJs tireless performances and impressive weekly lineups.
We are over halfway through the season and Solomun has already performed alongside some world-class house and techno guests including Peggy Gou, Tale of Us, Denis Sulta, Adriatique, Joseph Capriati, DJ Koze and more. This Sunday 18 August, Maceo Plex will take to the decks at what is one of the most anticipated dates of the residency.
All of Solomun's guests are headliners in their own right and influential tastemakers in the industry. With just two names on the bill per night, each artist has an equal time to shine and this Sunday will see the paths of these two monsters converge under that same roof.
The night will begin with Maceo Plex's singular music visions and dedication to science fiction techno and epic grooves before the big man takes centre stage. Solomun is truly at home at +1 so you can always expect the very best of him. What’s more, as usual, the final set of the night finds him go back-to-back with his choice guest under the celebrated Pacha cherries and extra special magic is always confirmed. This will be a fantastic party.
