Solomun +1 with Dixon, Ibiza parties reviews Solomun+1 is a successful party, totally integrated in Pacha. Its audience is quite varied, from tourists to natives, so Solomun is one of the favourites of Ibiza season’s workers. Every Sunday, cherry’s club moves the dj cabin to the centre of the dance floor, creating a feeling of proximity and connection with the crowd. Last Sunday 5 July, Solomun +1 presented one of the most expected dates of the season. The guest in this time was no other than Dixon. The German, a regular in Circoloco and Cocoon parties, has always been characterized by a hypnotic sound, with melodies as the principal tool, like it is usual to find in Innervisions’ references, his label. Party’s format was the usual. Warm-up in charge of some Dyinamic artist (Colombian’s Magadalena in this case), followed by the guest session and the Solomun show to continue, to finish with a special b2b between the two djs. It must be said that this formula works well, because people arrive always quite early to watch the guest’s performance. Solomun Pacha 2015. Image event Pacha Ibiza with Dixon At 1.30 am, when Dixon started playing, the room already getting full. The german performed a 2 hours set whit a very characteristic sound, with a strong Berlin flavour Deep-house.Long mixtures with great class and finesse as Dixon has gotten us used to finish his set whit the latest from Jamie xx, “Gosh”. Solomun began following Dixon’s path to rapidly make way to techno beats, reaching the set climax with the Daft Punk’s classic “Aerodynamite”, that literally made the crowd crazy for moments. After this, the Bosnian put down the tempo coming back to a more melodic sound, in preparation for his b2b with Dixon. As expected and as the crowd seemed to be demanding, the two artists built a set in which the vocal and hypnotic deep were the protagonists, with loads of new material (specially “Woods” of &Me, one of the tracks that we will talk about for sure in the incoming months) along songs that we can catalogue as 2005 summer classics like “Battery Park” of André Hommen. A perfect night from beginning to end thanks to the big quality of these two artists. In the next weeks, Solomun will be visited by Pete Tong, DJ Koze, DJ Tennis, Butch… Don’t miss it and get now your tickets! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trVXM5x3IP0
