SETTING THE SCENE
Hundreds of inflatable flowers, clouds and butterflies float above the dancefloor descending from strings of brightly coloured flags. All around the balcony and the walls of the venue hang thousands of leaf-like decorations, going up and up to make you feel as if enclosed inside an enchanted forest.
Think Alice and Wonderland vibe stroke Elrow, with gigantic mushrooms dotted around the pool-side setting, and huge unicorn and flamingo inflatables floating on the shimming waters underneath the glistening sun. You can not possibly find as much colour elsewhere as you will at Cuckoo Land; the most vibrant fairy-land on Ibiza.
THE SOUNDS OF SUMMER
Expect the very best in house, techno and deep disco with incredible line-ups featuring all the greatest names in the industry. On this day, British duo Waze & Odyssey were on hand to provide their iconic summer sound, fitting for the ethos of Cuckoo Land as we stepped onto the dancefloor.
Sonny Fodera opened his set with chart-topping house banger ‘Piece of Your Heart’ by Meduza. This track had the perfect drop to unleash the mighty ice-cannons onto the dancefloor and get the party started.
There aren’t many DJs who can play almost their entire album and create the same excitable reaction after the first few beats of every track. Fodera fans were in the house, and the anticipated tunes from his hugely successful album ‘Frequently Flying’ never fail to send people into a frenzy.

As much as we all love a Sonny classic, it’s his flawless remixing into the latest chart-topping tracks that create an uplifting surprise and a fresh flavour of sound. 'Always Gonna Be' was mixed heavenly with Tchami’s Adieu. What a treat.
'Jack' by Breach remixed with 'Ya Kidding' by Fisher also proved to be a tasty favourite with the house-hungry crowd.
Despite having a phenomenal playlist of house-heavy bangers hitting us in the face one-by-one, it was his new music and latest single 'The Moment' that proved a highlight for myself. This song is set to be a summer smash, watch out for this one!
