Following another tech-tastic summer, ANTS eighteenth and final party is locked down with only a few days to go until we bid farewell for another year.
Doesn't time fly! In 18 weeks we've seen Ushuaïa fill from corner to corner as the ANTs colony assemble every Saturday for one of the islands most popular parties. It's been another show-stopping season for the internationally famed residency ANTs and in its seventh consecutive year, the party continues to get better and better and provides many amazing dancefloor memories.
BBC Radio 1 rocked the party back in August, Loco Die threw a birthday bash like no other and head honcho Andrea Oliva has relentlessly provided numerous closing sets of complete euphoria. Now, one exciting date remains - the massive closing party on Saturday 28 September. Just like tradition, ANTs has called upon the biggest names in the industry for the goodbye celebrations in 2019.
One last party means go hard or go home - this one isn't for the faint-hearted as the final afternoon of partying mayhem will present the very best production and music of the summer. Expect mind-blowing pyrotechnics, lighting, visuals and a state-of-the-art sound system - not to mention the abundance of confetti and CO2 cannons!
Get inked up in fake (or real) ANTS tattoos, wave your complementary ANTS fan in the heat and embrace the Metropolis for one final time. This is what the final bonanza is looking like.
March to the rhythm of Francisco Allendes who has recently been crowned Best Ibiza DJ at the DJ Awards 2019. Regular ANTs floor-spinner Dublin will be on hand early doors to provide a bass-building warm-up where you can party poolside at the other end of the venue.
Following this, the big hitters will take to the main stage and as the sun begins to set in Playa d'en Bossa, the party will turn things up a notch or ten!
We are still currently unaware of the set times but with four massive names pencilled in for the party, each of them is a headliner in their own right.
Amongst them is the unstoppable tech-house duo and BODYWORKS protagonists Solardo. Closing parties always present the most energy and with two of the bounciest names in dance music behind the decks we know their infectious enthusiasm will create lively vibes.
Steve Lawler headlined ANTs on the final August date and reminded us why he is one of Ibiza's most acclaimed and respected DJs. With an undeniable talent to read the crowd perfectly, Lawler is one of the most trustworthy artists on any roster as every set of his is certain to please all house heads. Catch him this Saturday.
European tech legend Joris Voorn will return and is of the more prominent names to have dj'ed at ANTs this summer. The reason they keep inviting him back? Because he brings big-room anthems capable of sending the largest of crowds into a frenzy and epic dance floor beats.
Last, but by definite no means least, Andrea Oliva headlines. A man who needs no introduction to any ANTs superfan will close the much-loved Ibiza party with a bang.
