The unstoppable Peggy Gou will be joining the Cocoon closing party on Monday 30 September at Amnesia Ibiza.
Taking place on the final date of September, Cocoon will deliver a one more night of incredible music at the San Rafael superclub with the help of some of the world's most talented techno tastemakers.
The veteran promoter of the island had already announced Adam Beyer, Ilario Alicante and ANNA to be in charge of the Club Room and we had been awaiting the name of the special guest to join head honcho Sven Väth in the Terrace. Surrounding much excitement, the anticipated news has rippled the island as the amazing Peggy Gou has been added to the line-up.
Through a regular stream of high-quality mixes, she has begun to turn heads in underground circles and performed at several Circoloco events in DC-10 over the course of the season, as well as a very special back-to-back with Solomun at his acclaimed Solomun+1 residency in Pacha. On 30 September, it will be the Korean DJ's first time playing at Amnesia.
Despite playing a small number of gigs in Ibiza this season, all of her sets are an assured, kinetic combination of dark, pulsing house and techno, broken beats and abstract compositions and she has delivered some of the most memorable moments of the summer - we expect the Cocoon 20th anniversary closing party to be even more special.
With the breath-taking line up now confirmed, this event is set to be one for the books!
