Black Coffee returns to Hï Ibiza in 2026 for an eighth consecutive season
There are artists who come to Ibiza, and then there are artists who become part of the island. Black Coffee belongs firmly in the second category. When the South African DJ and producer first took residence at Hï Ibiza back in 2017 - the club's very first season - few could have predicted that what began as a bold bet would evolve into one of the most enduring and celebrated partnerships in the history of Ibiza nightlife.
Eight seasons in, he's back for another summer. And the feeling is anything but routine.
A relationship built on trust and shared vision
What makes the Black Coffee residency at Hï Ibiza special isn't just the music, although that alone would be more than enough. It's the consistency of a vision. Season after season, Black Coffee has used the Hï Theatre as a space to explore the intersection of Afro House, deep electronic music and cultural storytelling, inviting artists from across the African continent and beyond to share the stage with him. Each year feels like a new chapter rather than a repeat, and 2026 is no different.
This season, Black Coffee takes over Hï Ibiza every Saturday from May 2nd to October 3rd. 23 nights to lose yourself in sound. The opening night set the tone perfectly: an extended set that reminded everyone why this residency has become a landmark of the Ibiza summer.
A lineup that speaks for itself
Part of what makes this residency so compelling year after year is the quality and breadth of its guest lineup. Black Coffee has always had an instinct for curating nights that feel coherent rather than just impressive on paper, and the 2026 season is a masterclass in that approach.
The Theatre this season reads like a who's who of contemporary electronic music. Dennis Ferrer, the New York house legend whose productions have shaped dancefloors for over two decades, brings his trademark blend of deep, soulful grooves. Guy Gerber, the Israeli artist known for his emotive, introspective sound, has long been a natural companion to Black Coffee's world. Henrik Schwarz, one of electronic music's most versatile and respected figures, brings a jazz-influenced, deeply human approach to the decks. Dubfire, the Iranian-American techno pioneer and one half of the iconic Deep Dish, continues to be one of the most commanding presences in any club context. Then there's Honeyluv, the Houston-born DJ and producer who has rapidly become one of the most exciting names in house music, blending Chicago influences with a raw, high-energy style that has taken her from underground favourite to global stages in a matter of years. Loco Dice, a fixture of the Ibiza summer for years, brings his signature dark, hypnotic techno. Luuk van Dijk, the Dutch producer whose melodic sensibility and technical precision have earned him a devoted following across Europe. Mahmut Orhan, whose emotional, cinematic productions bridge the gap between electronic music and a wider mainstream audience. And Shimza, the South African DJ and producer who shares not just a homeland with Black Coffee but a deep connection to the Afro House movement that has reshaped global club culture over the past decade.
With more names still to be announced, the full picture is only getting richer — and if the names confirmed so far are anything to go by, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the strongest seasons yet.
Más Tiempo: the Club Room gets its own story
While Black Coffee holds court in the Theatre, the Club Room this season belongs to Más Tiempo, the project of grime pioneer, rapper and cultural entrepreneur Skepta. Far from a secondary room, Más Tiempo operates as a residency in its own right, with its own identity, its own sonic universe and its own carefully assembled lineup.
Conceived as a creative platform to explore house music through Skepta's lens — warm grooves, uplifting energy, a vision deeply rooted in collective experience — Más Tiempo brings a fresh and genuinely exciting dimension to Saturday nights at Hï. The Club Room lineup for the season includes Adam Ten, Arielle Free, Dennis Ferrer, DJ EZ, East End Dubs, Loco Dice, Luuk van Dijk, Olive F, Salomé Le Chat, Shae Reid and many more, with Skepta himself a recurring presence throughout.
Together, the Theatre and the Club Room create something greater than the sum of their parts. Two distinct worlds operating in parallel, both worthy of your full attention.
Why this residency still matters
In a summer calendar packed with big names and even bigger production budgets, the Black Coffee residency stands out for a different reason. It has soul. It has history. And eight years in, it still feels like it has something to say.
