The abandoned zoo situated at the foot of the hills of Benimussa in San Antonio hosted one more year the expected opening of Zoo Project with two days parties: the Wednesday, May 28; and Saturday, June 7. Burnski, Spencer Parker, Federico Grazzini, Acid Mondays, Lee Pennington, Jeancedric, Defex, Jonathan Tena, Milou and Emerging Ibiza deejays festival that took place that week led the opening party of the first day. Dungeon Meat, Roy Davis Jr, Session Victim (live), Borrowed Identity, Medlar, Evan Baggs, Pedestrian, Acid Mondays, Michael James, Jonathan Tena Jeancedric were in charge of the sessions during the second day.
Zoo Project is the only event that release the inner animal of the partygoers. The crowd was dancing on the outdoor terrace from early afternoon mingling with King Kong, Amazon princesses, mermaids and zookeepers.
The opening began with the traditional body painting on the promenade of San Antonio creating a spectacular setting in the bay since noon.
The club presented new decoration made of recycled materials and furniture. This initiative adds to the benefit concert held on Saturday, May 10, to raise funds for the association, Alianza Mar Blava, fighting against oil exploration off the coast of Ibiza and Formentera.
