Divas assemble and prepare to shine for one last time at the Glitterbox Closing Party with Fatboy Slim and many more disco selectors.
This summer, Glitterbox has been holding its glitzy glow over Hï Ibiza for 17 weeks. "We've come a long, long way together..." and we're now launching in the remaining three dates with the almighty closing fiesta on Sunday 6 October. Joined by Fatboy Slim, the date will mark the end of an epic 20-week residency in 2019.
If you're yet to shimmer under the hundreds of suspended disco balls in one of Ibiza's most fabulous venues, then the line up just announced for the final date is simply unmissable and the perfect excuse to dance your way to Glitterbox. In fact, no excuses - your attendance is mandatory. Here's why.
Glitterbox is known for hosting many of house and disco's most influential artists. With star-studded line-ups and dazzling performers in a paradise of spangles and sequins, this party throws out more energy than ever creating a crowd with ear-to-ear grins and their hands in the air.
This party will be Hï's final party of the summer, so evidentially they brought out the big guns. The legendary Fatboy Slim took over the Wild Corner toilets earlier in the season and it sent social media into a frenzy. Following this, the dance music icon has been invited back, but this time, to headline.
Joining him on deck duty will include the brainchild of Defected head honcho, Simon Dunmore and long-time Glitterbox affiliate Roger Sanchez. Filled with passion and dedication to house and disco music, it's no argument that these men have brought some of the most magical moments to the residency.
Taking the middle ground between techno and EDM, the party's musical ethos extends beyond disco with classic uplifting house, fresh disco cuts and dance-floor gems across the board. Providing the very best tunes, Louie Vega, Dimitri From Paris, Purple Disco Machine and Horse Meat Disco will also help us keep dancing until the bitter end.
John Morales, Melvo Baptiste and Melon Bomb are also among the list of fresh talent and veteran DJ's to join the final fiesta. Finally, live performances come from Sister Sledge lead vocalist Kathy Sledge and CeCe Peniston.
On top of the eccentric dance troupes, awe-inspiring production and electric vibe, Glitterbox is the ultimate fiesta in terms of sassiness and extravagant glamour. The closing party is set to take the island by storm.
