Adam Richard Wiles, known to the world as Calvin Harris, grew up in Dumfries, Scotland, teaching himself to produce music on a home computer before uploading his early tracks to MySpace. That DIY spirit paid off fast. His 2007 debut I Created Disco announced a distinctive voice in UK dance music, but it was "We Found Love" with Rihanna in 2011 that catapulted him to a different stratosphere entirely — spending ten weeks at number one in the United States and becoming one of the best-selling singles of all time.
Since then, the hits have barely stopped: "Feel So Close", "Summer", "How Deep Is Your Love" with Disciples, "One Kiss" with Dua Lipa, and more recently "Blessings" have all become cornerstones of modern dance music. He has collaborated with Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, The Weeknd and Ellie Goulding, among many others. With a Grammy Award, multiple Billboard and Brit Award wins, and over 56 billion combined streams, Harris has spent years ranked among the highest-earning DJs on the planet. He writes, produces, mixes and performs everything himself — a rare breed in an industry full of shortcuts.
