From Tottenham Rooftops to the World's Number One Club
Joseph Adenuga Jr. grew up in Tottenham, North London, as the son of Nigerian parents, and spent his early years on pirate radio stations before becoming one of the defining figures of British grime. His 2016 album Konnichiwa won the Mercury Prize, peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart and introduced grime to a genuinely global audience. Collaborations with Drake, A$AP Rocky, Pop Smoke and Pharrell followed, and more recently his work with Fred Again — including "Victory Lap" which surpassed 200 million Spotify streams — signalled a move toward electronic music that felt completely natural.
His Más Tiempo project is the sound of an artist exploring house music on his own terms — warm grooves, dancefloor energy and a vision rooted in the collective experience of the club. It is both a label and an events brand, and in 2026 it arrives at Hï Ibiza with the weight of one of the most celebrated careers in British music behind it.
