Spain's Psymama: The Woman Who Put Psy-Techno on the Global Map
Indira Paganotto has spent over thirteen years building one of the most distinctive careers in Spanish electronic music. She started in Madrid's underground, developed her craft on early vinyl releases and spent years refining a sound that lives in the brutal, hypnotic intersection of psy-techno and high-tempo club music. Her rise accelerated sharply when she remixed Depeche Mode, debuted at Coachella and Tomorrowland, and became the first woman to close the main stage at Monegros Desert Festival. Her debut album Arte Como Amante arrived in early 2026.
In 2023 she founded ARTCORE, a label that quickly became one of the creative driving forces of the psy-techno movement — winning Beatport's Label to Watch award in 2025 and, in 2026, working with Beatport to officially launch psy-techno as a standalone category on the platform. A genuine pioneer, not just a curator.
