He discovered his love of music when he was 8 years old. Aged 14 Hardwell began his career as a DJ, and aged 16 he already had 4 albums in his name. In 2013 he was one of the invited guests of Pure Pacha at the cherry club, and absolute success, and after being asked by many venues, he finally established his residency at the beach club Ushuaïa.

In 2014, he is considered the #1 DJ in the world, both at the International Dance Music Awards as in the DJ Mag Ranking. He has remixed for Fedde Le Grand, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Bob Sinclar or Avicii amongst others, but the track that boosted him as one of the most popular DJs in EDM is Spaceman, a great success at Tomorrowland 2012. His sessions of this festival have been seen by over 20 milions people in 2012 and 2013 and his performances are remembered as some of the greatest performances.

In 2010 Hardwell founded Revealed Recordings, his own label, where he collaborates with talents such as W&W, Dannic, Dyro or Firebeatz, with house, trance and progressive sounds. He also counts with his own radio show, Hardwell on Air, with over 150 shows and over 1.5 milion subscribers in his Youtube channel. In the International Dance Music Awards of Miami we see his meteoric progression: 'Best Breakthrough Artists' in 2012, 'Best European DJ' and 'Best Mixer' in 2014 and in 2014 he is awarded 'Best Global DJ' Ranking 2014 del DJMag top 100: 1º
