Hardwell, whose real name is Robbert van de Corput, is a DJ, producer, and record label owner from the Netherlands. He rose to fame with hits like "Zero 76" and "Encoded," which became festival anthems. In 2011, he founded his own label, Revealed Recordings, and has released numerous successful tracks and albums, solidifying himself as one of the leading figures in electronic music.
He was crowned DJ of the year by DJ Magazine in 2013 and 2014 and has collaborated with major names like Tiƫsto, Afrojack, and Martin Garrix. His career has been marked by his ability to connect with audiences worldwide thanks to his unique energy and mixing skills.
In 2018, Hardwell announced a break from touring but continued to produce prolifically. In 2022, he made his comeback with the album REBELS NEVER DIE, which blends his signature style with trance and techno influences. This album marked the start of a new chapter in his career and was followed by a successful global tour. His label, Revealed Recordings, remains a cornerstone of electronic music.
Hardwell is also known for his philanthropic work, such as his United We Are foundation, which has raised millions for various social causes, particularly in India, through charity concerts.
