Brazil's Sonic Ambassador: Samba, Afro House and Something Entirely His Own

Bruno Gustavo grew up in Santa Catarina, in the south of Brazil, and built his sound from the inside out — blending Afro house, organic house and progressive textures with samba percussion, baião rhythms and vocals in Portuguese that make his music immediately recognisable as Brazilian without being reducible to any single genre. He co-founded Dawn Patrol Records alongside Maz in 2020, and the label's output quickly established itself as a global reference point for Brazilian electronic music. Tracks like "Povoada", "Corpo e Canção" and "Jolie Fille" reached number one on Beatport's Afro House chart, while "Todo Homem" topped Organic House — all within the space of a few years.

He made history alongside Maz as one of the first Brazilians to open Tomorrowland Belgium's main stage during the Daybreak Sessions, and has since played Cercle, Rock in Rio, CORE Medellín, Space Miami and Hï Ibiza. His music receives consistent support from Keinemusik, CamelPhat, Vintage Culture and Stephan Jolk, and with over 326 million streams across platforms, he arrives at his 2026 Ibiza residency as one of the most exciting names in global electronic music.
