Heaven bills itself as the most famous gay night club in the world, tho of course plenty of breeders have passed thru the doors since the 1979 opening.

The central London venue has big a capacity of over 1,500. You don't all have to share the same tastes however as there are four rooms each with its own dj. The music varies with house, pop, r'n'b', trance and other genres all making an appearance.

The main floor, Star Bar, Dakota Bar, Bedroom and VIP area the Departure Lounge have each seen more than their fair share of high energy debauchery over the years. Half-naked bar staff, fashion shows and tabloid-enraging dance floor frenzy are just some of the attractions for tourists and Londoners alike.

Heaven's heritage is amongst the richest in all clubland - it has provided the first experience of house music and gay good times for thousands. Grace Jones and Cher have performed live and it was part of Virgin boss Richard Branson's empire until 2003.
