Clerkenwell House
The reputation of the London district of Clerkenwell as a destination for discerning drinkers and amateur pool players is boosted by the rise of Clerkenwell House. Despite the rather formal name the restaurant cum club bar is not at all stuffy and the music tends towards the eclectic rather than the 4/4.
Disc and laptop jockeys entertain on most nights for up to 200 punters. For some it's a warm up before heading on to the nearby Fabric and Turnmill clubs, for increasing numbers of others a night out at Clerkenwell House is an event in itself.
If you need a break the couches are deep and welcoming and there are pool tables downstairs. Contemplate the art on the walls as you enjoy an expertly mixed cocktail.
Please note you must be 18 or over attend events at Clerkenwell House.
