Clapham Grand
Ahh Clapham. The lovable south London borough shares its name with the nearby railway junction that can lay claim to be the busiest in Europe. Also popular is the summer festival Get Loaded in the Park at the 81 hectare (200 acre) Clapham Common.
Afterparties for this and other music festivals are a boon for pubs and clubs in the area. None is more welcoming to aimlessly wandering carousers than the nearby Clapham Grand, a century-old Victoria theatre on St John's Hill.
The ex-bingo hall has gone all out to dazzle with a huge lit up dance floor and 40 square metre screen which shows the big games to all interested parties. The Grand can accommodate up to 1,600 punters over its three floors and unashamedly aims to get them all dancing with the biggest hits of today, last week and other notable eras in popular music.
On any given night you'll find tequila girls, podium dancers, bands, a hard dance rave or even in house entertainment the "Caburlesque" dance troupe.
Please note you must be 18 or over attend events at Clapham Grand.
