Retox & Circuit New Year's Eve

If New Years Eve is a time to be surrounded by friends and family then Sosho will be the place to see in the New Year, as Retox and Circuit come together with a host of our close DJ friends. Retox will take control of the upstairs room for the fourth New Years Eve running to close the curtain on another great year for the legendary Sunday session. The past 12 months have seen some outstanding sets, notably Claude Von Stroke and Justin Martin back to back, and also the Moon Harbour showcase featuring Matthias Tanzmann and Luna City Express. Thankfully this New Years we that wonderful Funktion One sound system to play with, from which you can expect a real warm house sound from Mexican native Hector. During the week he can be found dispensing advice on the latest releases at Soho music emporium Phonica Records, while he has built up a great reputation behind the decks at the infamous toilet parties. There he also plays alongside the excellent FB Julian, who will also be joining us to see the New Year in. Completing the cast upstairs will be Retox residents DJ Anto and La Gosse.

The lounge this New Year will be looked after by Circuit, which caps off a great first year for them since launching their weekly Saturday night party at Home Bar back in March. As well as packing out Home most weeks, they also hosted one of the parties of the summer with their 12 hour marathon at Egg featuring Matthias Tanzmann, Mr C and Dirt Crew. This New Years Eve session will naturally feature a set from resident DJ Enzo Siragusa. Enzo’s sound has been at the heart of Circuit’s success this year, constantly keeping it deep and underground. He’s bringing in a whole host of quality DJ friends to make this a special New Year session. As well as running his own very successful Filthy Gorgeous parties, Scott Martin is also a regular at the legendary We Love Sundays at Space parties in Ibiza. Enzo and Scott have played across Ibiza together for years, and alongside one of our other guests for the evening Ryan O’Gorman. As well as regular gigs at We Love, Ryan has promoted and DJed in Ibiza and London for sometime now with his every
busy Vitalik and Electricsex parties. Rounding it all of in the Circuit Lounge will be Underbelly duo Seb Zito and Luke Miskelly. They’ve been regulars at Circuit this year as both punters and DJs, and it is only natural that they bring their trademark sound to this party. Their own Underbelly parties are splendid private affairs that happen occasionally and worth checking out if you can.

All in all there’s a great line up of music on offer through the night at Sosho, which itself is an ideal New Years Eve venue with its warmth, comfort and cocktails. On the night details will be revealed of a special all day New Years Day after party, which helps make this Retox and Circuit New Years session at Sosho the ideal place to go in one year and out the other.
