Kinky Malinki goes Digital

At Digital (formely The Zap), United Kingdom on 26 Apr 2008

Lineup:

Joey Negro, Grant Richards

Kinky Malinki has something very special planned for the upcoming summer months as they ink a deal for a one off show in the superb south coast area with Brighton clubbing behemoth Digital! The brand’s sumptuous sound will be making its way to the southern super club for a one off party, showcasing the Kinky Malinki vibe and party manifesto to its full effect. The intimate nature of the venue and superb sound system makes it purposefully engineered for the KM experience, a hedonistic playground crafted for fun.

Digital is the Southern branch of the Newcastle club of the same name, the refurbished former Zap club which has gone on to staggering heights since it opened in 2006. There’s a neat twist to this gig at Zap was one of the first ever gigs Kinky Malinki put on years ago – and now they are back! Like its Newcastle namesake, Digital boasts a Funktion One sound system and a glorious cartel of nights. Kinky Malinki will be joining the likes of Wax:On, Hat Club, Skint and Shindig who have all partied in the venue on a series of occasions in the past and making full use of the venue’s capabilities. KM will be bringing a world class house music aficionado to soundtrack the evening.

The special is guest Joey Negro – aka Dave Lee – who has for many years integrated his passion for disco music into house as both a seasoned and prolific producer and remixer of disco and house, the kind of music that has had dance floors grooving all over the world. Not content with being the most commercially successful house producer in the UK Joey continues to play out all over the world and had guested at some of the best club locations known. A long standing friend of Kinky Malinki, Joey is the perfect guest for this party.

So expect nothing short of fabulous decor, a beautifully sexy soundtrack and that unmistakeable Kinky vibe permeating through every wall. The event promises to cause something of an intermittent pulse amongst the history annals of Digital, with the touch of capital city glamour that Kinky Malinki do so well complimenting the wild child manifesto of the south coast. If anything sums up the promise, fun and excitement the upcoming summer holds, then this is tantamount to that...

Also on 26 April...   Also in United Kingdom...
