Alchemy kick-off 2008 on Saturday 16th February with definitely our strongest line up to date for our Valentine’s Special!! You know the format... two thoroughbred drum & bass labels and a selection of our favourite DJs in one of London’s most prestigious venues; the 5 room labyrinth that is the mighty Turnmills.

After the amazing Carnival Sunday party who else could we invite to host the Old Skool room, but the original innovators - Reinforced Records. To celebrate Valentines we've invited the ladies choice, Fabio and his legendary Creative Source label to look after Room 2, whilst in the main room our very own ‘Primal’ step up to the controls, featuring a selection of our very favourite DJs.

Since 1990 Reinforced Records have been the backbone of drum n’ bass and it’s a genuine honour to have them return. Representing the enforcers will be 4 Hero (Marc Mac DJ set), Rufige Kru (Goldie DJ set), Doc Scott, Randall, Storm, Stretch and Teebone alongside your hosts for the evening - MCs GQ, MG, Justyce and Rage. Next up is Creative Source, purveyors of liquid funk and all things jazzy since 1995. Their midweek Swerve night (at The End) is a mecca for drum & bass headz around the globe. Representing Creative Source on the night will be Fabio, Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Bailey, D- Bridge, Lynx and Commix... with your hosts by Fats, DRS, SP:MC and Fozz. Finally, the DJs in the Primal room need no introduction. Step forward Andy C, DJ Hype, Shy FX (debut appearance), Klute, Loxy and Obi 1 & Kontrol - with GQ, 2Shy, IC3 and Sky on the mic.

As if all that wasn’t enough already we also have two rooms upstairs catering for different tastes with Jacked taking over the Loft with their unique concoction of hip-hop, jazzy breaks, deep house and deep techno, whilst over in Anexo the Indigo crew make a debut appearance with their smokin’ blend of Chicago and House! Whatever your taste, you know it doesn’t get any better than this!!
