Lineup:
Room 1:
Marco V (6 Hour Set), Gavyn Mytchel and The Viceroy
Room 2:
Hosted by Solid Kiss & Friends
The end of year Gallery Free Member’s Party is now something of a legendary affair. FREE ENTRY FOR MEMBERS and reduced prices for guests need not mean a drop in the quality and boy oh boy, we prove this point on Friday 28th December with a wicked night to see off 2007 in style!!
Marco V a firm favourite here at The Gallery and still one of the leading names worldwide touches down fresh from his Christmas break to work off those mince pies with a 5 Hour marathon set of sonic excellence. Regularly pushing boundaries especially here at The Gallery such as his Combinations album launch party which included 3 sets in 3 rooms, and playing behind a live visuals screen in the main room, Marco is one who never fails to draw a crowd. As one of the few big DJs who have the luxury of drawing upon a huge back catalogue of productions and a far reaching, multi-genre record collection... this 5 hour set promises to be one of those “were you there when?” sets that happen so infrequently. Joining Marco will be another producer extraordinaire in the shape of everyone’s favourite German, Mike Koglin. One of a celebrated few who could ever claim to be Grammy Nominated (he lost out in the end to Mariah Carey!!!), Mike and his NOYS imprint consistently do the damage with support from all the biggest trance jocks. This year has seen him release ‘Reloaded’ and his artist album ‘VS’ through NOYS to great acclaim. Gallery residents Gavyn Mytchel and The Viceroy take up their positions to do their thing, having both enjoyed a successful year down here at The Gallery. Gavyn has recently found success with his remix of Andy Ling’s ‘Fixation’ track and his own latest trance bomb ‘Panzer’ has been doing some serious dancefloor damage. Vaccine resident The Viceroy meanwhile, ends the year with another strong release propping up CD wallets all over the place with ‘Affirmative Action’ on Discover Dark - so expect the usual main room madness with these two as they enjoy one last “jolly boys outing” for 2007!
Over in T2 Moni and her Solid Kiss party return with DJ Rebekah - who kicked off 2007 in style with a month’s residency in Shanghai where she played 4 nights a week, warming up for luminaries such as James Lavelle. She also held a residency at Birmingham’s Custard Factory where she rocked it alongside world class talent including Eric Prydz, Switch, Lottie and Tania Vulcano amongst many others. Throw in the usual Solid Kiss glamour and goodness and who knows what will happen!!
With no Gallery NYE party this year – this is the next best thing and if you’re a Member then it won’t cost ya a penny!
Also on 28 December... Also in United Kingdom...
