Enter The Rough House 4
on 14th Oct 2007 from 5:30PM to 2:30PM
Warrior Promotions MMA (UK) Limited are proud to announce that their exciting “Cage Warriors: Enter The Rough House” series will return to the Harvey Hadden Centre in Nottingham, on Sunday 14th October, with another exciting event featuring some of the top up and coming UK and European talent.
Already tentatively scheduled to fight on the show are fighters from the local Team Rough House and Team Tap or Snap which include FX3 World Lightweight Champion Andre Winner (7-1-0), Lee Livingstone (2-0-0), and Wayne Buck (2-0-0) Whilst also due to appear are CW regulars such as the BodogFIGHT veteran Matt “12 Gauge” Thorpe (7-5-0) and Mark O'Toole (6-3-0) and many more.
However Warrior Promotions are pleased to confirm two bouts already, as the CWFC World Bantamweight Champion Paul “Metabolic” McVeigh (11-4-0) defends his precious CWFC Bantamweight World Title against the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo Black Belt Anderson “Deton” Pereira.
McVeigh returns to defend his CWFC Title against Pereira who moves down a weight category to face McVeigh after finding his Judo and BJJ black belts were impeding his quest to find suitable competition over the last few months.
The second confirmed bout sees Rough House Welterweight “Judo” Jim Wallhead (11-4-0) make his tenth professional MMA appearance at Cage Warriors, when he faces UFC 72 veteran Steve 'The Smiling Assassin” Lynch (4-1-0) on October 14th .
Wallhead who recently relinquished his Cage Gladiators British Title (which he won by defeating the now UFC veteran Jason Tan) is still the House of Pain British Welterweight Champion and is also known for winning the under 83kg 2h2h “Road to Japan” tournament in Holland last June.
Whilst Steve Lynch from the UFR Fight Team in Belfast already holds two British Titles and will be looking for a route back to the UFC following his loss to the American Dustin Hazelett (9-3-0) at UFC 72 back in June.
This event already has all the making of another exciting and action packed Cage Warriors MMA show. Ticket information and the rest of the card will be announced in the coming weeks as the Cage Warriors team yet again aim to show why they are one of the UK's elite events.
