Kinky Malinki the story so far…2009

2009 is now a quarter way through and is already shaping up to be Kinky Malinki’s finest year to date. Another glorious and innovative year for one of house music’s most revered and forward-thinking club brands.
 
Whilst other club nights get a bit flabby around the paunch and red-eyed from all the late nights, Kinky Malinki continues to stay fighting fit and set a pace that very few can match, let alone rival.
 
This year has seen a giant leap into further greatness as KM kicked off 2009 with a new residency at London’s latest superclub, matter. A stunning, gothic venue equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, sound, decor and pyrotechnics. The epicentre of the future for clubbing in London complete with Kinky Malinki’s future vision for London.
 
Not content with holding court at one London hotspot, KM have just announced a renewed – and long overdue – return to the most famous twin cherries of them all, Pacha London. Kinky Malinki held some of its finest and most prolific parties at the venue before Pacha underwent a £1 million refurbishment. The last event was KM’s return to the venue and it served as a perfect example that Pacha’s favourite child had been absent for too long - a record number of people came through the doors to signal the homecoming and partied through the night.
 
This summer sees an assault by the brand in two of the world’s most desirable and touristic cities – Egypt’s Sharm-El-Sheikh and Russia’s Moscow; BOTH at the internationally-renowned, Pacha. We hate to use the word global domination but feel it may be apt here....
 
Reading above, you’ll see we mentioned the Middle East, but did we also mention Kinky Malinki’s continued presence at the opulent Zinc nightclub in Dubai? Or, indeed, forthcoming nights in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi? Places filled with wealth, class and style – would you expect anything less from these cunning purveyors of alluring house music?
 
Not content and certainly not resting on their laurels of being one of the biggest, most prolific and popular house brands in the world, Kinky Malinki have also been making further strides with their self-titled record label. With further releases from the cream of producing talent, coupled with another Kinky Malinki album, if the KM sound won’t infiltrate and engage the senses during a night out then it certainly will on a night in!!! All bases are covered and the template for future success is there for all to see.
