If there’s one club that every clubber should visit before leaving the island, then that club is Space. Summer Ibiza clubbing is synonymous with Space although the recent change in law this season will see the famous morning and daytime clubbing experience move into the realms of history. Space will live on though, for the past few years the venue management have been preparing for the evitable clampdown, gradually building up the repertoire of nights until the club is just as legendary now for it’s Carl Cox Tuesday night session as it’s We Love Sundays.
The refurbs of 2 years ago put paid to the infamous terrace, but the super club now boasts 5 rooms of music, a total capacity of 4000 people and so many DJs that it’s like a mini festival every time the doors open.
Lots of moving around this summer to accommodate the new opening hours , but you can count on We Love returning for their 10th year on Sundays, Carl Cox storming back in for his award winning Tuesdays, and shiny happy Matinee slotting into a Saturday afternoon spot, for all those up for a bit of shirts off/shades on action.
La Troya return to Wednesdays for the islands most colourful locally promoted affair, and Madrid party animals Goa move into Friday nights, whilst Danny Tenaglia and Wally Lopez are on board for Space's answer to Pure Pacha, Be @ Space every Thursday.
