Renaissance Rooms

You think you know London and then someone takes you south of the river and says 'Hey look at this - it's a 2,000 capacity club stuffed full of barely-clad loons sucking on gas and having the night of their thus far short lives.'

The Renaissance Rooms has nothing to do with the style-led Renaissance club brand which tends to inhabit more glam, intimate spaces. This Vauxhall venue is big with the faster-louder hard dance fans and roller skaters.

Fetish brand Torture Garden has also put events for sex party addicts, as have gayers Salvation.

There are two large arenas and several other smaller rooms including an outside terrace in summer. The super sound is courtesy of the funky Funktion 1 system, lasers abound, as do performers on podiums and even the the odd glitter bomb.

Please note you must be 18 or over to attend events at the Renaissance Rooms.
