Shepherds Bush Empire

The Shepherds Bush Empire has consistently proved itself the finest live venue of its size in London.

It was Music Week's UK Venue of The Year in 2005, having already won the award four times previously. Since its 1994 refurbishment the Empire has also been garlanded with Live! Magazine's Venue of the Year three times, the International Live Music Conference Venue of the Year once and the BBC London Live Best Venue once.

Acts who have performed at the 2000 capacity theatre include fast rising hot shots the Kooks and the Feeling, innovative pop stars such as the Sugarbabes, Beck, Black Eyed Peas, Elton John, Kylie, Destiny's Child and Finlay Quaye, and genuine rock royalty like David Bowie, the Who, Blondie, Eric Clapton, Radiohead, Paul McCartney, Iggy Pop, Iron Maiden, the Smashing Pumpkins, Coldplay, Soundgarden and more.

More upbeat events include the clubber-friendly Cream, Kiss FM, hardhousers Frantic and the Brazilian-themed O Carnaval. Comedy fans have flocked to performances by Jo Brand, Eddie Izzard, Howard Marks and Sandra Bernhardt.

The Empire has provided an opulent backdrop for numerous events broadcasted live, befitting its heritage as a BBC tv studio and theatre. It contains seven bars over four levels which stock a wide range of beers, wines and spirits.

Please note that you must be 18 or over to attend events at the Shepherds Bush Empire.
