Embassy London

From its opening in 2001, the restaurant and club Embassy has contributed to Mayfair's reputation as a haven for cash flashers and their followers. It bills itself as a member's only club so be sure to contact the venue before arrival.

Thursday is model's night, because of course the professionally beautiful don't have to get out of bed before twelve on week days, Fridays is a genre-mashing rock'n'roll'n'other stuff freak out and Saturdays are more urban-oriented.

The instigator of all this expensive debauchery is nightlife personality and restaurateur Mark Fuller, whose reputation for lighting fires under hot spots precedes him.

His design includes a glass-fronted VIP room overlooking the main dance floor that is"perfect for the modern day voyeur". The Private Members Bar and Club is situated on the lower ground floor and features, chandeliers, acres of lounging space, an array of lighting effects including plasma screens and floor-to-ceiling mirrors on the far wall so revelers can evaluate the effect of their dance moves.

Open till 3am, Wednesday to Saturday.

Please note you must be 21 or over to attend events at Embassy.
