Reward, the new monthly club night curated by Ty Bulmer of New Young Pony Club and Brian Smith of Silver Music.

Intimate and friendly, expect to hear nothing but exciting inspiring music from the dawn of the electric era to the modern idealists making us move and shout today.

Housed in gift boxes, our favourite artists each month, will represent what we consider to be the most inspirational musical moments, movements and ideas that the great cities of the world have to offer.

Playing the songs that moved them to first dance in their rooms, to buy their first DJ rigs and eventually form their live bands, our featured acts will span every genre that ever made a young man or woman bounce up and down on an unmade bed or sing into a hairbrush.

Our mission is to bring you music that will make you happy, music to make you think and dance. Music to remind you what music is for.

And the ultimate reward…is that it’s FREE.

French wunderkinds We Are Enfant Terrible top our launch night – doubling up as a launch party for their debut album on Last Gang Records. We have been dancing to their single, Filthy Love in our living rooms and we’re very excited to be able to introduce them to you.

DJing, along with our Reward! resident Ty Bulmer of NYPC, we’ll be joined several very special guests. We are very pleased to welcome Terry Hall. Terry is one of the UK music scenes most inspiring characters, having collaborated with artists as diverse as Damon Albarn, Lily Allen, Bananarama and Novelle Vague, as well as haunting the Top Ten with his own outfits, Fun Boy Three, Vegas and notably as the voice of Godfathers of the UK Ska scene, The Specials.

Also spinning tunes will be pop siren Cocknbullkid, hot off her success with her single "Hold on to Your Misery". This is the day before she plays Brixton Academy with Chromeo, so a great opportunity for fans to watch her playing her top tracks of the moment. Finally, we are thrilled to have the hotly tipped C90s with us. In keeping with our mission statement, they will be playing the massive tracks that first shoved them in the direction of the local disco.

And as it’s Wedding Fever night, the Hoxton Pony will be open until 4am so you don’t even have to leave until you really can’t dance anymore. We can’t wait to see you there.
