Fuse - Saturday Night Rave

On Saturday 7th August we return for our second annual Saturday Night Rave.

Last year D’Julz and DJ Wild took centre stage for a raw, sweaty warehouse rave in the heart of Shoreditch. This year Fuse raise the bar again inviting Get Physical’s legendary DJ T to headline alongside a 3 hour back-2-back set from Moon Harbour stars Matthias Tanzmann and Martinez. Fuse resident Enzo Siragusa will also play for 3 hours on this rare occasion.

The party will take place in one of London’s best loved rave spaces, which will be kitted out with the highest quality sound spec the venue has seen.

DJ T.

DJ, label owner, producer, promoter, club owner, publisher and journalist, DJ T has been at the very heart of German and international dance music culture for over 20 years. As the founder of Groove Magazine, Monza nightclub, and the Get Physical label, he has displayed a deep passion and respect for electronic music and its culture. As an artist in his own right he has released two critically acclaimed albums, numerous essential singles, and been responsible for a host of captivating remixes. DJ T brings this wealth of passion, talent, energy and history to the decks at Fuse for a set of no-nonsense dance music with real groove at its heart.

MATTHIAS TANZMANN

He may have only played at Fuse twice, but already the seeds of a special relationship have been sewn. Ever since his first set at Fuse at the August bank holiday in 2009, a real connection was made between Matthias and the Fuse faithful. Groove and depth are essential elements of his music, and this is why there is such affinity between him and Fuse. This sound has been at the heart of his 10 year residency at the legendary Distillery club in Leipzig. This sound has inspired the output on his acclaimed label Moon Habour. This sound has been the cause of so many down right mental sessions at Circo Loco parties around the world. And this sound will form the basis of this eagerly awaited 3 hour back-2-back set with Martinez for the Fuse Saturday Night Rave.

MARTINEZ

Producing music and promoting beach parties while he was still at school, Martinez has always been one step ahead. He began his career in the deeper and jazzier end of house, before being drawn to the techier more experimental sounds of house music, eventually establishing what he refers to as ‘Cosmic House’ a spacey house sound fusing techy and atmospheric vibes and colourful melodies. Productions for Dessous, Get Physical and Moon Harbour made people sit up and take notice, while his own Re:connected label further establish his credentials. As a DJ he excels even further, with his notorious deck skills and impeccable taste at work at clubs like Cocoon, Amnesia, Space, Panorama Bar, and of course, Fuse.

ENZO SIRAGUSA

Attuned to the dance floor through more than a decade of DJing, Enzo’s distinctive sound and DJing style is at the very heart of Fuse, and central to the party's success. When he steps up to play, his often marathon DJ sets are subtle, dynamic and always full of energy. Growing up in the early 90’s rave scene, dance music has always been a way of life for Enzo. Since then he has always had an instinctive understanding of what the crowd should hear, a deep connection that all his DJ sets are built on. He is now at the beginning of a very promising production career. His deep and enchanting debut release Himba, was warmly supported by the likes Laurent Garnier and Ben Watt, and it’s known to be a big favourite of Seth Troxler’s. This summer he’ll be based in Berlin, with bookings lined up at Bar 25 and Weekend, but also there to delve deeper into his music production and continue his mission to create music that is as deeply captivating, inspiring and powerful as his DJ sets have proven to be.
