As the summer season creeps ever closer, talk of the world’s greatest parties ring in the air, and yes, many of us will be heading to the hedonistic white isle that celebrates club land opulence and furiously commemorates dance music culture, but those of us left behind or that will only get to taste the Balearic sensation for a short while need a haven of our own. Enter Body Move. Resident club night, music haven and DJ congregation at London’s favourite party house for summer 2010 – Egg. Presenting the fourth BodyMove Party since its Launch in March earlier this year, the intention to shine some light and warmth on our summer weekends in our smoke quilted city carries on in to the next series of events. Previous guests have included Michael Gray, Steve Smart, Kid Massive, Mr C, Boy George and more. BodyMove are bringing an evening, night and umm, day filled with sexy, groovy, Techy, dirty House-music and a bit of Glitz with the unveiling of the new, fabulous, sexy and ever so important All Star VIP room in the Apothecary. The tailored for all party hasn’t gone unnoticed and MTV Dance have jumped on the bandwagon to film the nights debauchery, bang on trend of course. So ladies and gents get ready and strike your best summer pose!

Coming out of winter darkness, Egg has recently unwrapped one of London’s favourite party hot-spots the infamous Garden; releasing yet again their secret weapon and in-turn transforming Egg to its full summer glory. As one of London’s more in-Vogue clubs it is always at the brunt of Mid-summer madness. Perfect then to host the world cup viewing, and with a BBQ and free cocktails from 9pm – 11.30pm, it is one of Saturday night’s early starters. Watch the match in style then devour the F!nk Funk beats delivered by Kiss 100 FM DJ’s; Sean Scott and the ever lovable Breakfast crew –Taking us on a House and Electro ride until 1pm the following day, yes, BodyMove is a case of How Long Can You Last. Ready to prove yours?

It’s fever pitch all round as part of their explosive tour, Dirty Dubbin a party gem and treasured promotion bring the South African dirty beats to the loft; a chosen area for many Egg revellers with it’s always uplifting and commendable vibe, mix this in with one of South Africa’s leading house Music exporters, plus the post-football fever and we have a gorgeous cliché of a marriage made in musical heaven.

As the South African vibes and beats carry on up top, it’s Ripped that are coming out of the Light...Box, and taking over the miraculous Funktion 1 rigged main room with a debut Egg appearance. Showcasing their tear-it-up music policy, solely fashioned for people who like their music a little rough around the edges; whether it's House, Techno, Breakbeat or Jungle it is sure to cater for the more into-it Raver’s that like a bit of cheeky bass. Presenting Lottie from Radio 1 and their well acquainted residents that all think it’s metter to bix things up, it seems they will be putting the partiers to the test rather than the other way round.

Fresh from the Mixmag tour, Label night for 1980 recordings & a music blog, Fish Don’t Dance bring their All-About-The-Music-And-None-Of-The-Pretence attitude to the basement, with a Thomas Gandey aka CagedBaby appearance laying down the best House, Electro, Indie Dance, Tech and Techno music beats. In conjunction with their party personality they also carry out a weekly radio show presented by Dan McKie which is currently syndicated around the world on 22+ stations with 20,000+ listeners, it makes sense that these boy’s always bring a dance-floor stimulating atmosphere then doesn’t it?

True to form, June fills everyone’s mouths and minds with Ibiza opening stories; but thanks to BodyMove London is due to feel an opening of their own being presenting with an utterly faultless summer party tailored for everyone. Groovy, trendy and filled with surprises this press release does the coming summer Liason next to no justice. Sex yourselves up and do something worthy of your weekend, it has everything you need!

Lottie

A Top 50 spot in DJ Magazine’s DJ Of The Year poll in one of only nine women in a chart of 100 DJs, a residency at The Gallery, Bugged Out’s first Lady, presenting for MTV at Homelands (2000) and appearing on Channel 4’s award winning Faking It show and Radio 1 spinner, is there a corner stone untouched by this girl? A globe-trotting DJ she plays all over the UK and internationally, spreading her “proper house music” vibes. Consistent in playing a set with deep and tribal, through to tough and techy house with an added twisted disco and funky sound from UK and American labels; she is skilled in her trade. Although a strong British musical personality, Productions include ‘The Sound’ on Duty Free Recordings and ‘The Yob’ with Trade DJ Malcolm Duffy on Remote. Others include ‘Relax’ by Robbie Rivera, and Lottie’s favourite track, ‘Happy Days’ for Defected.

Expect another mash-up of all things house and trendy for the BodyMove party.

Thomas Gandey aka Cagebaby

What could be more fitting for the Body Move party than remixer of the amazing Nelski’s Body Pop Track with Radio Slave? Thomas Gandey also known as Caged Baby brings his trademark poppy tech-disco sound, but don’t get too ahead of your expectations as the Brighton and Bordeaux based Producer has been crafting away at an alluring mix of tough techno and sexy nu-disco productions, pushing technological boundaries, maybe but losing sight of his trade-mark DJ style of keeping the audience entertained, never.

Having released his stunning "Will See You Now" album, as well as the "Fried And Tested" compilation with Fatboy Slim - both on Southern Fried Records, as well as compilations for Pacha, DJ Mag and a Radio 1 Essential Mix, not least his latest remixes for The Editors, The Temper Trap, Grace Jones and his appearances at Pacha Ibiza, Space and Wonderland in Ibiza, he is one of the elements we are counting on to bring some true Balaeric partying to the BodyMove-ment.
