Disco System hits Brixton Jamm on the same night that LCD Soundsystem hit the Brixton Academy for their string of sold out dates and aim to keep you dancing through the night with the very best in Disco, House & detroit Techno from some of the best know and well loved artists we could find…

Mock & Toof (DFA/ TINY STICKS) - Mock & Toof are two London based producers who record for Tiny Sticks, Mule Musiq & DFA Records’s Death from Above (US) imprint. They were initially noticed with their remix for The Juan Maclean, which was quickly followed up by their re-edit of Madonna’s Lycra Virgin. Following more remixes for the likes of Hot Chip, The Scissor Sisters & Maps, Mock & Toof strengthened their position with widely acclaimed singles for Tiny Sticks, Mule Musiq & Rvng Intl. With a reputation as the hottest remixers around they are now being heralded as artists in their own right with the imminent release of their critically acclaimed new album in April.

Padded Cell (DC Recordings) - Padded Cell came about in 2003, partly as a response to the conservatism of early millennium dance music but also to act as a conduit through which they could conduct and realize their most outlandish ideas. With a sound that draws from sources as diverse as Goblin, The Velvet Underground, Arthur Russell, Prince, Carl Craig and label boss J Saul Kane, analogue fetishism and creeping psychosis are key themes, as is a need to create something that is both honest and unique.

Ray Mang (DFA/ Mangled)- Ray Mang is the disco dance party DJ alter ego of writer/producer Raj Gupta. The moniker was introduced as a vehicle for creating, releasing and spinning anything goes disco-centric party music for collectors, dancers, enthusiasts and Jocks alike. Taking inspiration from the extended disco mixes, dub versions and edits of such luminaries as Larry Levan, Walter Gibbons, Daniele Baldelli, Tee Scott, Began Cekic and Tom Moulton, and the open minded music policies of some of the pioneering early clubs such as the Paradise Garage, the Loft and the Italian Cosmic parties, Ray Mang set out to help keep the glitter ball shimmering and the disco flame burning into the new millennium, With releases on LCD’s DFA Records and DJ support from the likes of Pete Tong, Harvey, Gilles Peterson, James Lavelle, Dimitri from Paris, The Glimmers, Groove Armada, Doc Martin, Spun, Daniel Wang, Trevor Jackson, Idjut boys, Buck, Royksopp and Andy Weatherall amongst others.
