Cosmopolitan three floored club, Egg, launches a new weekly party that is going to blow your Friday Night apart. Fusing 4 rooms of music covering all the bases or should that be bass-es, including House, Electro, Techno, Dub, Drum & Bass, Nu Disco & Mash Up, this multi-layered party is set to rip.

Showcasing the unpredictable Radio 1 duo, Jaymo & Andy George as Launch Party headliners, they kick off The Terrace with their fun, rumbustious DJ sets. As producers Jaymo & Andy have been responsible for some massive dance-floor bombs! including Andy’s ‘Big Dipper’ (one of 2008’s most popular jump-up Electro tracks, prompting a flurry of remixes for scene-leaders Lord Skywave, Toddla T & Jokers Of The Scene). Whilst Jaymo first came to the attention of the music world with his Hip Hop-infused ‘Tuned In Live’ picked up on by DJ Touche, Boy 8 Bit & Crookers.

5 Things You Should Know About Jaymo & Andy George:
1. Jaymo & Andy play everything from Electro to Disco to Synth Pop & Indie
2. Jaymo’s old skool genre of choice is French House, whilst Andy is a self-confessed Garage freak
3. Andy keeps his most treasured promos hidden in amongst his unusually large hair style
4. Jaymo has re-occurring dreams about being the third member of Daft Punk
5. As kids Andy & Jaymo used to record makeshift radio shows using 2 cassette players, a turntable and a Radioshack microphone

They are joined by Edinburgh’s Electro/Rave/Fidget/House producer, Hostage, known for his house-electro and live sets involving reckless stupidity and who recently supported Kissy Sell Out on his last tour. Completing the opening nigt line up is resident DJ, Mr Pixel.

Union DJs, who have taken their fun-loving mentalist army on the road bringing the
Armageddon of UNION to every loved and respected club in Europe ensure The Basement launches in massive stylee. “Its all about 'bringing that life changing feeling that people are closer to one another than it might appear that's what everything we do is about... the music we play... every detail of UNION... everything.”

UNIONdjs are constantly raising their game and obliterating the rigid norms of dance music. Their recent collaboration with beatbox extraordinaire Killa Kela sees their high octane dj sets merge with spectacular live element including Kela’s other-worldly voice box to create a one of a kind musical extravaganza. Clubbing, as we know it, is breaking down and making way, and UNIONdjs are wielding the wrecking ball.

Egg’s hidden club within a club, The Apothecary, welcome the Pirate Sound System, the rave loving bass buccaneers (part of the excellent Coin Operated imprint, alongside Kanji Kinetic, Squires of Gothos, Warlock etc and Wide Recordings). The Pirates make big, fat and high octane 4×4 rave influenced bass music, and their remix skills have been sought by the likes of Drop The Lime, Wiley, A1 Bassline, DZ, Ctrl Z & The Freestylers, and they have just dropped a banging remix of Double 99’s “RIP Groove”. PSS are also residents at monthly bass frenzy the Z-Shed

They are joined by Aquasky, Original D&B pioneers, who then shifted into breakbeats before combining bashment rhythms, 4/4 beats, old school vibes, trademark bass and classic breakbeat to fire up their new sound from way out. Call it House, call it Old School, call it New-Rave Breaks, call it Warehouse... whatever you call it... it’s still Aquasky through and through. Designed to make the ladies bounce and the fellas break, as he lights to flicker and the speakers shake!!

Always keen to champion vocals Aquasky have recently linked up with Atlanta rappers Sporty-O and Goldmouf for a new release on their own imprint Passenger. Featuring a remix from up and coming 4/4 mash up king Kelevra and a special collab with one of their mates from the past 20 years, Trevor Loveys, Followed by another collaboration with Midlands bass slayers, Slipz and Dapz, a duo who have championed the 4/4 bassline scene with support from Kissy Sellout and Ras Kwame on Radio 1 and virtually every pirate radio station north of Luton. But don’t expect the obvious as that’s too predictable! When the old masters link with the new school youngsters things get heavy... real heavy! With remixes from drum and bass' wonder-kid DJ Friction and a legend from the old school Tonka, (now signed to Norman Cook's Southern Fried label) this is dirty dirty bass music.

And the last element of Blow is Buster Presents Monster Mash Up which will be raising the roof of The Loft with its extra-ness of neo rave DJ’s and edgy club kids. Nuke Them All’s Buster Bennett celebrates all things futuristic and exciting in dance music and London nightlife, and is joined by NSG (Dr Hero) and Maximus Crown.

Funktion One sound system in pure mash up style, against a customised production set and some tearing visuals and special fx.
Free Giveaways and Drinks Offers on all night!
