Off Key New Years Eve

2009 has been a vintage year for Off Key having proven to be the most anticipated, talked about and unique event to hit Maidstone in a very long time it started in May which was a rip roaring no holds barred rampage of the finest house and techno slap bang in the centre of Maidstone. Coupled with our strict Ethos of outdoor partying (and apart from NYE strictly daytime dancing!) Off Key have moved the boundaries slightly in Maidstone to showcase the world’s finest acts in electronic music and to do it outdoors as we all know there is something extremely good about dancing outside!

Resident spinner at renowned party Circo Loco @ DC10 Ibiza, Clive Henry a purveyors of chunky-tech house and techno and as one half of Peace Division is a high in demand producer & remixer. Like many DJ’s, he made his name promoting his own successful parties – first Gosh and then The Bone – booking guests such as David Holmes and Ashley Beadle. Clive and X-Press 2’s Rocky then set up the Low Pressings label in 1996 – one of the most respected labels in the UK, with releases from H-Foundation, Def-E, Spacejunk and many more. At current Clive Henry is a stalwart of DC10 the club every DJ would give there right arm to play at and Clive plays every week in the summer that is a testament to his consistency as a DJ and as a producer. Clive makes his debut performance for Off Key on a date that could not be more fitting and it set be the stuff of legends.

Of course the resident’s are back in force, Sam Ball is back on duty after wowing the crowds of Las Vegas and his current releases riding high across the board with the likes of David Squilliance, Coyu, Edu Imberon, Groove Armada. Laurent Garnier & Carl Cox.

Duncan K is back after a busy summer and of recent from ADE as well as in the studio making slabs of unadulterated tech house, and Lee Brinx fresh faced from a summer of Ibiza and with various production projects on the go Off Key shows why these are the hottest talent on offer right now.

The event will as always be taking place outdoors but fear not the whole of Banks terrace will be covered from head to toe in a marquee and also heated so don’t worry about freezing your knackers off it will be just like summer again!
