Deluded are two years old and what better way to celebrate than to call on the services of the undisputed man of the moment and one of, if not the, most infuential artists in the UK right now, Jamie Jones.
Jamie is without doubt one of the most in demand DJ's at the moment and we cannot contain our excitement at having been able to agree for him to perform at our Birthday.
JAMIE came from a small village in the green hills of Wales. His first gig was at Bangor University Student Union aged 17, where he fluffed every mix because he had only ever played on belt-drives and never on Technics.
He ran away to East London, and slowly rose through the underground party scene, first as a connected clubber, and then as a DJ and producer. He played regularly at London’s Fabric, and became friends with London DJs Damian Lazarus and Clive Henry.
His first music landed on Dan Ghenacia’s Freak N Chic label, and then Leftroom Records, Tsuba, and Hypercolour. Now Jamie Jones has finally released his debut album ‘Don’t You Remember The Future’, and much like its creator it is hypnotic, soulful, obsessed with sci-fi, and groovy as hell.
For years Jones has remained on the cusp of the mainstream, but with his new LP being heralded by critics, and a new music video, Jamie Jones is now hitting the big time..
Holding his own alongside JAMIE will be london talent Chrissy Maranello.
With a strong ability to read the crowd and an ear for a good tune, it is no doubt why Chrissy has a reputation for rocking dance floors. Playing a mixture of underground house and techno he manages to keep things groovy and full of energy. With this and his strong technical ability it is no wonder why he has quickly risen the ranks in London and Ibiza’s club scenes
