STYLE OF EYE (Dirtybird/Pickadoll, SWE)

In the early 1990s, working from a studio in the northern-most parts of Sweden, Linus Eklow laid the foundations for what is now known as Style Of Eye. ‘Right Now!’ was his first release on Derrick Carter’s Classic Music Company- and it received a major response from both the dance press and tastemakers alike. It didn’t take long before the house and techno community at large picked up on what Linus was doing.
With subsequent Style Of Eye releases such as ‘Gioco’ and ‘H-bomb’ and ‘We Got You’, Linus broke through onto dancefloors all over the world. His releases being played by such well-known names as Tiefschwarz, John Dahlback, Claude VonStroke, Tiga, and Laurent Garnier amongst many others…
Linus is now that “important future star” that DJ Magazine predicted he would be.
DSL (Ed Banger, FR)

In 2003, the DSL brothers released their first album, a Hip Hop album done with rhum & xtc. After a bunch of mixtapes and shows all around France, DSL disapeared of the rader.
All we know from DSL is that they drank a lot, this is probably due to their west indies roots, and they also dropped sharp beats, due to the asian side we guess...
In 2008 it was time for them to shine. At he begining of the year they joined Ed Banger Records and released Invaders,, their first EP on the label. The 12’’ included remixes by Djedjotronic & Busy P. A few month later they dropped Find Me In The World and a downtempo contribution to the Ed Rec Vol.3 compilation, mixing hip-hop and trance keys.
The three brothers are now back with their second 12’’ for Ed banger records, which defines their sound better than ever and affirms their personality among the Ed Rec roster.
MUMDANCE (Southern Fried)

Jack Adams AKA Mumdance is an artist really coming into his stride. His eclectic music taste and original slant on music has fast earnt him a international notoriety
Jack is at the forefront of the emerging “Global Bass” scene. A sound he and a handful of his peers have pushed over the past year or so breaking many boundaries in the process.
The key to this movement is that EVERYTHING is fair game to be sampled and used as an influence. Regional music from around the world is embraced & all music genres, styles sounds & tempos are encompassed.
Although easy to spot, his sound is constantly changing and evolving, a key feature allowing total artistic freedom and a licence to constantly explore new musical territory, so much so that when people come to see him play they now do so with an open mind and expectancy.
The success of this formula is reflected in the wide range of events that Jack gets booked to play, ranging from rowdy East End grime raves, to chic fashion and media events.
Jack has played pretty much every worthwhile event up and down the UK and toured extensively throughout Europe. 2008 saw him headline shows in Milan, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Geneva, Amsterdam, Den Haag, Innsbruck, Graz, Prague & Dublin. As well as playing venues & events such as Matter, Fabric Room 1, Paris Social Club, Stealth, Digital, Bestival, Great Escape Festival & Notting Hill Carnival.
