Easter Saturday (April 11th) sees Fervor continue their residency at The Lightbox with man-of-the-moment Reboot performing Live. As it's Easter we're opening up three rooms with the help of two other special parties; Leeds darlings Ketoloco take Room 2 with London's Techno Coalition hosting the third room.
In the main room joining Reboot are Fervor's reliable set of residents; Ninja Cowboys, Lovefish and Grimey. They're also joined by Zoo Project Ibiza DJ, Clint Lee.
We're once again releasing a limited number of bargain £5 tickets for this party which will be followed by a run of £10 tickets. It will be £15 on the door. Party runs from 10pm to 5.30am.
Undoubtedly one of the finest production talents to emerge in 2008, Reboot has become a darling of the underground seemingly overnight. Open up a dance mag and you won't have to search hard before you see a DJ mention him or find a track of his on a cover mount CD.
His sparkling releases for Cadenza, Cocoon and Below have left him in ridiculously high demand as the remix man-of-the-moment.
Reboot, aka Frank Heinrich, the 30-year-old Frankfurt musician, started releasing tracks for Combi.int and i220 with his former partner Delle in the duo Delle-Heinrich. Launched only a year ago, Frank's Reboot project is so far responsible for the well-received 'Charlotte' for Frankfurt's Below label as well as a recent remix for Greek duo Lemos & Kreon, on Be-Chosen. Where 'Charlotte' was suffused with sweetness and light and tentative time-keeping, Reboot's debut EP for Cadenza Records is considerably darker. His productions are dedicated to grooves both darkly emphatic and dazzlingly polyrhythmic. Reboot was also enlisted with the job of mixing CD2 of Sven Vath's 'Disco Invaders' Cocoon album in the run up to last summer.
Frank's most convincing arguments are his stunning live performances and his DJ-sets. His live sets can be described as sexy and pumping. His DJ sets incorporate the whole spectrum from deep minimal sounds to driving electronic-tech vibes. For the last years Frank has been a regular feature on the electronic dance music scene in Germany playing at clubs such as Cocoon Club, Duala, Panorama bar and many more.
