Saturdays
The Last Days of Decadence presents a weekly extravaganza of sophisticated Grand Voodoo Deluxe! Expect louche entertainment, old school hellraising and decadent chic in the spirit of the roaring 'twenties. Featuring the cream of London and the wider world's live music, cabaret performers and DJs stirring up a fizzing, crackling brew of Saturday night excess. Drink Deeply, If you dare!
Jeepers creepers jitterbug and jive! The Buzztet is an all-American vibrant, throbbing powerhouse of sax-led swing. Songs from the seamier side of the hipster era like ‘Big Ten Inch’ and ‘She kept on sittin’ on it’ alongside original jazz and blues tunes to knock off your sox and hold back the dawn. It’s a revel without a pause, so get your hep cat joy juice out from where you hide it, throw on some choice threads and shuffle on down. Plant ya now, dig ya later. Labelled a "musical visionary" by legendary Jamaican sound man Gladdy Wax, J-P Seculaire is a London-based DJ and promoter with a passion for vintage black music. Particularly known for jazz, rhythm & blues, soul, ska and calypso selections, he blends many different styles from many different eras. Our new semi-resident compere and notorious dark queen of cabaret Dusty Limits graces our stage with his louche and elegant presence. Razor tongued wit coupled with sinister ballads of lowlife and debauchery. A genuine cabaret genius. Concert pianist and renowned beauty Chrys Columbine is feted for her beautiful and risque performances... Frontwoman of electro-sleaze rockers and Trash City curator Ruby Blues makes an explosive appearance tonight in another incarnation as the Marquis de Sade. Your maiden aunt might think differently, but we're sure the old Marquis would approve of Ms Blues' interpretation! Oddly yet aptly named, this DJ walks between the raindrops, wrings blood from a stone and wears broken hearts on his sleeve. He never appears in photographs. Also Featuring The Last Days Of Decadence resident DJs Lydia Darling and Lucifer Box, charming your heels into motion with their exquisite selections.Featuring:
