Papadiso

It’s the last Papadiso of 2006 on 9th December and we have rolled out a special surprise for you guys and a UK first. In the Basement we are pleased to be joined by Kraftwerk, Wolfgang Fleur who will be djing. Pioneering electronic band Kraftwerk need little introduction as one of the most legendary acts in music. Emanating from Germany and with a totally unique take on electronic music of the time Kraftwerk literally took the world by storm. These days it is rare to catch them performing live and so it’s extra special to hear Wolfgang DJing in the UK!! Another 80’s legend Arthur Baker will be providing support in the Basement. Arthur Baker was among the most visible and widely-imitated of the early hip-hop producers, masterminding breakthrough experiments with tape edits and synthetic beats before crossing over to introduce the art of remixing into the pop mainstream. He began his career as a club DJ in Boston. Finishing up the basement will be resident DJ Shane Watcha, who as always has the tunes that keep you on the dance floor until 6am! Making something a little bit different in the Basement.

On the Terrace Francis Harris aka Adultnapper is in effect. Francis has been a regular in London since the mid 90’s. His House and Techno productions on many labels have earned him a place in London’s musical fraternity. Friends Steve Smart and Clint Lee are spinning alongside and as Terrace regulars we are sure to be dancing our socks off.
