The Zoo Project Festival venue is announced

The Zoo Project have named the venue for their 3 day Zoo Project festival in England this September.  It of course had to be animal related and they’ve found a corker of a venue, it’ll be taking place at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park!   Party animals will be able to get there from London on a direct train in just 40mins, going from Kings Cross to Ashford International.  It’s also just 45mins from Gatwick for those who’re coming over from abroad.  Early Bird tickets have sold out, read on for more info on another limited offer...  

Tiesto Confirms On Twitter End of Privilege Relationship

DJ Tiesto confirmed on Twitter today, that he is to end his five year residency at the Worlds Biggest Club, Privilege, in San Rafel, Ibiza. In his tweet, Tiesto stated that, "last year (2011) was the last time" that he would perform at Privilege. Unconfirmed reports strongly suggest that Tiesto is now on his way to Pacha to take over the Monday night slot left vacant by the departure of Swedish House Mafia.

Ready Steady 123! Ibiza goes large with a new festival for 2012

News of a brand new music Festival, to rival Creamfields and Glastonbury, has been announced for Ibiza. The Rocktronic Festival, from July 1st to July 3rd, is billed as the "Biggest Event in Ibiza for over a Decade" and it will "Blow this Island apart" according to its website ibiza123festival. The festival has ambitious plans to bring about the "Biggest Rock and Dance Music Artists performing together in Ibiza". Unconfirmed reports are suggesting that Rhianna, Sting, Lenny Kravitz and Elton John will headline the event, which will be held on scrub land next to Cafe Mambo, on the sunset strip of San Antonio.

Island gossip is already underway that Dutch uberstar DJ Tiesto will be stepping out of Privilege for the summer season approaching in exchange for one of the smaller Ibiza superclubs. After 4 years residency at the worlds biggest club could he be on the move to pastures new?

New night at Eden expands the Ibiza Live offering in 2012

What was once Clubland, is now Ibiza Live and after their first season at Eden last year, the night is set to return to the San Antonio Club with news of their Opening Party on Tuesday June 5th, 2012. Confirmed acts for Ibiza Live in 2012, include Dizzee Rascal on the 17th of July and Example on the 10th and 31st of July. Also confirmed, is MTV Brand New Nominee, Jermaine Scott of Wretch 32, who will perform two nights, on the 19th of June and the 14th of August.
